The NEMS Market Report provides a comprehensive overview of the market activities and shares insights into the performance of the NEMS over the past year. 

The MSCP Annual Report 2025 assesses competitiveness, efficiency and market rule compliance within the NEMS over the past year.

One rule change was approved by the Energy Market Authority in November 2025.

Our Markets and Operations team hosted the 144th session of the bi-monthly Market Information Sharing Forum (MISF) on 13 November. 

In November and December, we welcomed one new market participant and registered five new facilities in the National Electricity Market of Singapore (NEMS).

The monthly average Uniform Singapore Energy Price (USEP) in November increased by 36.9 percent to $139.68/MWh. The monthly average USEP in December fell 31.9 percent to $95.09/MWh, resulting in the lowest monthly USEP since February 2021.

The EMC Board is pleased to announce the re-appointment of Professor Euston Quah and Mr Yeo Yek Seng to the Market Surveillance and Compliance Panel (MSCP) for a further term of three years from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028.
