EMC Budget and Admin Fees

EMC Admin Fee

As determined by the EMA on 30 June 2023, EMC will be recovering 42.28 cents/MWh (inclusive of 9% GST) for services supplied from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027. 

In accordance with the revenue regulatory framework, EMC will be collecting monies arising from the audited revenue adjustments in respect of the period 1 Jul 2024 to 30 Jun 2025. The total amount to be collected from the market from 1 July 2026 to 30 Jun 2027 is as follows:

Under the Market Rules Chapter 2 Section 11.1.6, EMC is required to publish its proposed expenditure, revenue and schedule of fees as soon as reasonably practicable following the receipt of the Energy Market Authority's approval. On 17 June 2026, the Authority has approved the proposed schedule of fees in the proposed EMC Budget.
