EMC Admin Fee

As determined by the EMA on 30 June 2023, EMC will be recovering 39.99 cents/MWh (inclusive of 8% GST) and 40.36 cents/MWh (inclusive of 9% GST) for services supplied from 1 July 2023 to 31 December 2023 and from 1 January 2024 to 30 June 2024 respectively. 

In accordance with the revenue regulatory framework, EMC will be collecting monies arising from the audited revenue adjustments in respect of the period 1 Jul 2022 to 30 Jun 2023 and adjustments for the 5 year regulatory period ending on 30 June 2023 . The total amount to be collected from the market from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025 is as follows:

Under the Market Rules Chapter 2 Section 11.1.6, EMC is required to publish its proposed expenditure, revenue and schedule of fees as soon as reasonably practicable following the receipt of the Energy Market Authority's approval. On 8 September 2023, the Authority has approved the proposed schedule of fees in the proposed EMC Budget.

Budget for FY2024/2025

Under the Market Rules Chapter 2 Section 10.1.1.2, EMC is required to publish its proposed expenditure, revenue and schedule of fees at least 100 days before the commencement of the new financial year and to invite interested persons to make submissions to the Rules Change Panel (RCP).
