As determined by the EMA on 30 June 2023, EMC will be recovering 40.45 cents/MWh (inclusive of 9% GST) for services supplied from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.
In accordance with the revenue regulatory framework, EMC will be collecting monies arising from the audited revenue adjustments in respect of the period 1 Jul 2023 to 30 Jun 2024. The total amount to be collected from the market from 1 May 2025 to 30 Apr 2026 is as follows:

Under the Market Rules Chapter 2 Section 10.1.6, EMC is required to publish the contents of the report referred to in Section 10.1.4.
RCP Report for FY2026/2027 Budget
Under the Market Rules Chapter 2 Section 11.1.6, EMC is required to publish its proposed expenditure, revenue and schedule of fees as soon as reasonably practicable following the receipt of the Energy Market Authority's approval. On 20 June 2025, the Authority has approved the proposed schedule of fees in the proposed EMC Budget.
EMC Approved Proposed Schedule of Fees for FY2025/2026
Under the Market Rules Chapter 2 Section 10.1.1.2, EMC is required to publish its proposed expenditure, revenue and schedule of fees at least 100 days before the commencement of the new financial year and to invite interested persons to make submissions to the Rules Change Panel (RCP). Any interested party who has any comments on the EMC budget can write to budget@emcsg.com. The EMC's budget and schedule of fees for FY2026/2027 is attached.
