Publication of Additional Temporary Price Cap (TPC) Information

The rule change proposal to publish reference prices for Primary Reserve, Contingency Reserve, Regulation and Market Network Nodal Prices was supported by the Rule Change Panel and approved by the Energy Market Authority (EMA) on 5 June 2025.

We are pleased to announce that EMC implemented rule change RC391 – Publication of TPC Information on 23 June 2026. With this enhancement, the Primary Reserve, Contingency Reserve, Regulation and Market Network Nodal prices, uncapped by their respective TPCs for the Real-Time Dispatch Schedule, are now published through EMC's market systems and data services.

This enhancement will improve market transparency, as well as the accessibility and usability of market information.
