The biennial Singapore Electricity Roundtable is now open for registration! The event will be held on 29 August 2025 at The Singapore Edition Hotel.
The Roundtable is a well-established, leading energy forum that connects influencers, decision makers, investors and other experts in the electricity, energy and related industries. It provides a platform for senior executives to discuss and debate the opportunities, challenges and issues facing these sectors in Asia Pacific and globally.
The Roundtable speakers and topics* this year are:
- Rainer Korte, Commissioner, Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC), who will speak about navigating the energy trilemma – challenges and opportunities transitioning to a low-carbon energy future;
- Vickrem Vijayan, Chief Operating Officer, Singapore, Sembcorp Industries, who will share on Sembcorp’s energy transition journey;
- Dr David Broadstock, Senior Research Fellow and Energy Transition Research Lead, National University of Singapore (NUS), who will be presenting on today’s energy solutions – market evolution and adaptation;
- Edouard Lavillonniere, Managing Director, EDF Lab Asia Pacific, will be discussing on a green and sustainable future – how low-carbon energy fuel the journey to net zero; and
- Ong Lay Hwa, Head of Energy Transition, Shell, who will be sharing Shell’s experience in powering the energy transition together.
