As part of EMC’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP), we conducted multiple exercises throughout the year to ensure staff are well-prepared and equipped to handle any crisis situations. These exercises are a crucial part of EMC’s workplan, designed to test our system readiness and ability to respond quickly, in order to minimise business disruptions in various emergency scenarios.
Throughout the financial year 2024/2025, EMC successfully conducted several exercises to validate and strengthen our business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities. These include systems recovery exercises, emergency evacuation drill, alternate site activation and scenario-based desktop exercises. EMC also participated in industry-wide exercises led by the regulators, that tested the industry preparedness and coordination in responding to major system crises and cyberattacks.
These comprehensive exercises are critical in validating the robustness of our BCP framework, ensuring operational resilience and the ability to maintain continuity of essential market services and operations during unforeseen disruptions.
