Singapore Electricity Roundtable 2025: Empowering the Market for the Future
Over 200 participants from Singapore and the region came together on 29 August for the 14th Singapore Electricity Roundtable. Held at The Singapore Edition Hotel, the event, themed “Empowering the Market for the Future: Collaborative Pathways to Net Zero 2050”, centred on how energy markets can evolve to meet the challenges of the global energy transition.
Attendees engaged in robust discussions about the opportunities and obstacles facing power markets globally, with a special focus on Singapore's unique decarbonisation journey. Speakers highlighted recent developments in Singapore’s energy industry and showcased innovative green solutions that will help the nation achieve its Net Zero 2050 targets.
The event featured a lineup of distinguished speakers, including Mr Puah Kok Keong, Chief Executive at the Energy Market Authority, and Mr Rainer Korte, Commissioner at the Australian Energy Market Commission. They, along with other industry leaders, shared invaluable insights and experiences from established electricity markets in both Australia and Singapore.
The day concluded with an exclusive networking dinner at FYSH, offering participants a great chance to connect and build new relationships.
